Carla E. Hogan focuses her practice on health care transactional and litigation matters, including health care startups, health care regulation, fraud and abuse investigations, defense of audits, health care insolvency, and Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) and Office of Professional Discipline (OPD) defense.

Carla regularly represents doctors in professional misconduct and liability proceedings. She also represents publicly traded and privately held health care entities and providers, including durable medical equipment companies, pharmacies, licensed and certified home health care agencies, dental practices, physician practices, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic and treatment centers, sleep labs, laboratories, and independent practice associations.

In addition to her health care practice, Carla provides employment counseling and training in best practices to businesses and public sector entities on compliance with federal and state employment laws, and compliance with employment related health laws. She represents employers in discrimination matters, noncompete, wage and hour, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and administrative proceedings. Carla has also negotiated collective bargaining agreements for private and public employers, and has worked on National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) matters.
