Founded by a group of skilled and experienced patent litigation attorneys, CCVL specializes in the trial and appeal of patent, trade secret, and other high technology cases. CCVL's attorneys also have extensive experience in successfully advising and navigating clients through complex business disputes before litigation becomes necessary. Through proactive, far-sighted business strategies, CCVL wins disputes before they arise. In the pre-litigation area, CCVL specializes in: developing client-specific business plans to enforce and license patent portfolios; negotiating licenses; conducting pre-suit investigations including patent infringement and validity studies; conducting due diligence investigations in support of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; developing patent procurement and patent prosecution strategies and consulting in the prosecution of key patents before the Patent and Trademark Office. With the addition of five attorneys in 2008, CCVL now has a pharmaceutical group.
