Ms. Stern is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Her primary areas of concentration include representation of major institutional lenders and letter of credit providers in complex real estate and commercial loan transactions and loan workouts involving income-producing property.
Ms. Stern is experienced in handling acquisitions, dispositions and general leasing work, and proficiently represents developers in financing specialty multi-family rental projects, such as those that house senior citizens or the disabled. She also represents developers in the site leasing, site development and financing of residential facilities for the disabled, ensuring compliance with regulations on tax credit investments.
Among her recent representations, Ms. Stern counseled institutional co-lenders in connection with a permanent loan for several office buildings and retail developments on the Hudson County Waterfront.
