Caroline Bérubé is the Managing Partner of HJM Asia Law & Co LLC. She supports the China desk of BRÖDERMANN & JAHN in China in all aspects of Chinese corporate and commercial practice. She has advised clients in various industries such as manufacturing, energy (oil, gas and mining), technology and services. Prior to founding HJM Asia Law & Co LLC, Caroline Bérubé has gained experience with a Guangzhou-based law firm (as a partner in the foreign advisory section) and as a lawyer in French and British law firms in Singapore
Due to her longstanding expertise and experience gained from practicing in Asia for more than 12 years, Caroline Bérubé has been featured in numerous magazines and newspaper articles, including La Presse, L'Actualité, Revue PME and Affaires Plus. Caroline Bérubé is also a regular speaker at international conferences worldwide (including conferences held in Milan, Montreal, Shenzhen, Lisbon, Guangzhou and Shanghai) and has spoken on various topics relating to business and law in Asia, including Chinese business rules and pitfalls, the protection of IP rights in China, mergers and acquisitions, and business immigration in Asia.
