Professional Experience
Carolyn Martino is senior counsel in the Individual Clients department. Her experience includes the preparation of wills and trust agreements for clients of all asset ranges, including planning to avoid the generation-skipping transfer tax. She has been a guest lecturer on estate planning in connection with the Connecticut Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program.
Carolyn received an A.B., magna cum laude,from Dartmouth College in 1983, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 1986, Carolyn earned a J.D. with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was a member of the Connecticut Law Review. Carolyn served as a clerk to Justices Joseph F. Dannehy and Alfred Covello of the Connecticut Supreme Court in 1986-1987. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association.
Carolyn lives in Glastonbury, CT, with her husband and three children.
