Carolyn W. Wagner is an associate in Crowell & Moring's Washington, D.C. office. She is a member of the firm's Torts Group, Healthcare Group, and Product Risk Management Group.

Currently, Carolyn is part of a team of environmental and tort lawyers who are monitoring tort litigation and regulatory developments involving hydraulic fracturing (a.k.a. "hydrofracking"). This team is developing strategies to assist companies working in the Marcellus Shale region to mitigate and reduce tort liability arising from the current rapid expansion of unconventional natural gas exploration and production activities, including hydrofracking, in populated areas.
Carolyn received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. While at Duke, she served on the editorial board of the Duke Law Journal and was a Guardian ad Litem for child victims of abuse and neglect in Durham County. She also served as a research assistant to Professor Katharine T. Bartlett on gender law issues. Carolyn graduated from Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, where she studied Political Science and Psychology.
