As a member of the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals industry group, Cassie has represented clients in jury trials in state and federal court in Missouri and Illinois, with experience as a first chair and as a member of a larger trial team.
Concentrating her practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation and healthcare industry litigation, Cassie represents clients of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies. She is involved in cases from the initial pleadings to negotiations and strategy and through trial and handles all levels of discovery, including e-discovery.
Cassie's general litigation practice includes breach of contract disputes and consumer fraud cases. In healthcare, she deals with a full range of commercial litigation clients, such as hospitals and health systems, pharmacy benefit managers, long-term care facilities, mail order pharmacies and medical device manufacturers. In medical malpractice, she represents hospitals and doctors in catastrophic injury cases.
As part of her regulatory practice, Cassie advises clients in the pharmaceutical industry on regulatory matters, and she regularly communicates with various state boards of pharmacy and the Food and Drug Administration to ensure that clients are in compliance and are maintaining appropriate licensure within the various states they distribute their products.
Cassie has also handled numerous pro bono matters for organizations in the St. Louis area.
Cassie is well-versed in counseling clients in all aspects of e-discovery, including preservation, collection, review and production. She prepares and reviews litigation-hold policies and practices. She has managed the review of more than 1.2 million documents and the production of nearly 200,000 documents in six separate cases during an eight-month period. She also drafted the document review protocol and conducted training and managed the assignments for 25 associates in multiple offices.

•Part of defense team that successfully defended proprietary career college in five-week jury trial for consumer fraud claims brought by former students.
