During law school, Ms. Basic served as a judicial extern to Magistrate Judge Sidney I. Schenkier of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, was a summer associate with Foley (2010) and a legal assistant to the director of the Appellate Advocacy Program at the Bluhm Legal Clinic.
Ms. Basic earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University (B.A., 2007). She received her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., 2011) where she was a member of the Journal of Law and Social Policy, president of the St. Thomas More Society, and co-chair of the Latino Law Student Association's Hispanic Heritage Month.
Ms. Basic is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Young Lawyer's Association.
