Celia practices exclusively in the areas of marital and family law. She is dedicated to serving her clients with the utmost compassion, integrity and professionalism. She works zealously to protect the interests of her clients and their children. Celia received her law degree magna cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 1993, and began her career in Philadelphia, first as an attorney with the firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll and then as a Clerk for the Honorable Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter of the Commonwealth (appellate) Court of Pennsylvania. She is an experienced litigator, having spent the first half of her career practicing complex business, commercial and securities litigation.
Celia also received her BA from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master's Degree in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has previously served as the Pastor of Programming and Arts for Palm Beach Community Church.
Celia is admitted to practice before the Florida and Pennsylvania state courts, as well as the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida and Palm Beach County Bar Associations and the Christian Legal Society. She is active in the community, having served on the board of directors for a number of non-profit organizations, including Growing Together, The Borland Center for Community Enrichment and The Pastor Training Institute, chairing firm drives for The United Way and sponsoring legal outreach events.
She has served as the coordinator for the Urban Youth Impact Legal Consultation Clinic, served as a volunteer mediator with Women Against Abuse and has represented abused children through The Support Center for Child Advocates.
Celia enjoys hiking, biking, tennis, reading, music, traveling and spending time with her family.
