Experience
Chad practices in the areas of Intellectual Property and Corporate law. His practice includes matters related to mergers, acquisitions and other commercial transactions, business entity formation, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, software licensing, technology and Internet law, trademark registration and protection, copyright registration and enforcement and the protection of trade secrets. Chad has extensive experience representing software developers and distributors in the acquisition, sale, licensing and development of software products. Chad also has experience representing companies in the sale and acquisition of businesses in many different industries including real estate holding companies, manufacturing companies, technology companies and other operating businesses.
Background
Chad was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Orlando, Florida where he graduated from Oviedo High School. He attended the University of Florida where he double majored in Political Science and Criminology and received his B.A. with honors in 2003. After receiving his degree Chad attended the Duke University School of Law and graduated in 2006. After graduating Chad moved back to Orlando to practice law. Chad is married and has two children.
