Chad M. Cowan is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group. Chad focuses primarily on commercial contracts, business formation and entity selection, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, debt and equity financing and due diligence issues.
During the course of his career, Chad has drafted and negotiated a wide variety of commercial agreements for clients in all points of the supply and distribution chain, including supply agreements, fulfillment agreements, software license agreements and distribution and reseller agreements. Chad also has experience conducting due diligence reviews and drafting ancillary documents for capital markets debt offerings, private equity mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings by growth companies and other corporate reorganizations.
Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Chad was an attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and served as a
Bar Fellowship: with the University of Pittsburgh Office of General Counsel. While attending law school, Chad interned with the University of Pittsburgh Low Income Tax Clinic and also spent time as a Judicial Extern with The Honorable Joy Flowers Conti of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
