Chanda Miller is an associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, she completed a one-year clerkship with the Hon. William H. Yohn Jr. in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Chanda's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including antitrust litigation, and white collar criminal defense. Her litigation experience includes defending clients in cases involving price fixing claims, alleged false claims act violations, consumer protection claims, and RICO claims. Chanda has also conducted corporate internal investigations and represented clients in investigations by state and federal enforcement agencies. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, medical device, computer hardware, construction, financial services, telecommunications, and entertainment.
Professional Activities. Chanda is the firm's liaison to Philadelphia VIP, which provides legal services for low-income residents and families facing civil legal problems. She is also an editor on the ABA Litigation Section's Antitrust Litigation Committee.
In General. Chanda graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2007. During law school, she was editor-in-chief of the Temple Law Review and was a teaching assistant in the Legal Research & Writing program. She also completed an externship with the Hon. Bruce W. Kauffman (Ret.) in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and an internship with the Hon. Glynnis D. Hill in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division.
Chanda earned her bachelor's degree, with high distinction, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000. She was selected to the Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society in 1999 and to Phi Beta Kappa in 2000. While at UNL, Chanda also spent a semester studying at the Fundación José Ortega y Gasset in Toledo, Spain. Immediately following graduation, Chanda was selected to participate in a one-year Rotary International Exchange in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.
