Mr. Moster has been practicing in the area of business law for over 24 years and has represented clients across the country including startup businesses, small to large size companies including Fortune 500 corporations, and government entities. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, PA. (1984) and holds a Masters Degree from San Diego State University (1979) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. (1977). He has been conferred the "AV" "Preeminent" attorney rating from Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest level of achievement granted to attorneys nationwide for legal excellence and the highest ethical standards of practice (5 out of 5 possible score). He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.
Mr. Moster was also nominated and selected as a "Fellow" of the Litigation Counsel of America. This is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective, by invitation only, and based upon the effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Mr. Moster is also a member of the following sections of the Texas State Bar: Business Law, Computer Law, and Bankruptcy.
He is also highly regarded as a litigator having served as counsel to the United States Department of Commerce and a Partner in the Washington, D.C. Law Firm of Deckelbaum & Ogens.
He co-founded the law firm of MosterWynne in Austin in 1996 which was one of the first law firms to operate as a "general counsel" to area businesses. This firm substantially expanded its practice areas and clientele over the many years and is highly regarded as the "go to" law firm in Central Texas for startups, entrepreneurs, and established businesses. Although no longer a partner of this firm, Charles Moster provides legal services on an as needed basis.
