CHARLES B. PATERSON is a Partner and a member of the Litigation and Labor and Employment sections. He is the former Managing Partner of the Montgomery office and former Chairman of the Labor and Employment Section. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, employment law, securities litigation, arbitration, mediation and business and corporate law. Mr. Paterson has litigation and counseling experience in various industries, including solid waste, daycare, architectural and engineering, and financial services. As former General Counsel to a publicly traded company, Mr. Paterson has experience regarding corporate governance matters and general corporate matters.

· Mr. Paterson has appeared as counsel in fifty-nine (59) reported cases and numerous unreported cases before the Supreme Court of Alabama, Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, United States District Court, United States Court of Appeals and various Circuit Courts in Alabama.
