After studies in law at the University of Yaoundé (Cameroon), Barrister Charles TCHUENTE integrated in the year 1995 as the business jurist in the oldest law firm in Cameroon created in the 1950s by Barrister Jean VIAZZI and Pierre AUBRIET.
After his admission in 1996 on examination of pupilage of Cameroon bar association, Barrister Charles TCHUENTE took the oath at the high court of Douala on January 2nd, 1997 and decided to join Barrister Jacques NYEMB, who decided to leave VIAZZI AUBRIET law firm and open his own Law Firm.
At the end of the two years pupilage at NYEMB Law Firm, Barrister Charles TCHUENTE was admitted in the Proficiency Examination and took oath on the 10th day of November, 1999 as a full fleshed advocate of the Cameroon Bar Association.
After ten years of practice at the NYEMB law firm where he contributed to raise to the rank of one of the best business consultancies in Cameroon, Barrister Charles TCHUENTE decided to open his own Law Firm in Douala on the 14th day of September, 1999.
The Charles TCHUENTE Law Firm is at present one of the most renowned business consultancies in Douala and is consulted by several international bodies and particularly the World Bank with which Barrister Charles TCHUENTE is an expert consultant for the report "DOING BUSINESS". Barrister Charles TCHUENTE is besides a member of the International Institute of right of French Expression and Inspiration (IDEF).
