Christie S. Mizer is an associate in the firm's Insurance/Reinsurance practice. She represents both insurer and reinsurer clients in a variety of matters. Her practice focuses primarily on complex insurance coverage litigation involving products liability and long-tail claims, including asbestos, silica, and environmental claims. Christie has also represented clients in arbitration and litigation involving disputes related to the cession/retrocession of claims under facultative and treaty reinsurance contracts.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Christie practiced in the D.C. office of an international law firm, where her practice focused on representing clients in complex commercial litigation, including fraud, breach of contract and insurance coverage actions.
Christie graduated from the University of Kansas in 1998 with a B.A. in Journalism, and received her J.D. from KU in 2002. While in law school, Christie was a member of the Kansas Law Review.
