Biography

Christina Adcock joined Adams and Reese in 2004 and is currently a Partner in the Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on general, professional and products liability, including medical devices and drugs, direct action insurance suits and mass torts.

Christina has successfully defended drug manufacturers, device manufacturers and health centers in both state and federal courts and has been heavily involved in various MDL class-action matters. She served as panel counsel for several major insurance companies and is currently panel counsel for one of the largest medical device and pharmaceutical insurance providers in the country, specializing in medical device and drug claims. Christina is also panel counsel for one of the country's largest commercial insurers in its major case unit, handling matters with exposure exceeding $150K. Christina also represents commercial clients and insurers in direct action matters in Alabama and Mississippi in both class situations and individual matters.

Her other significant contributions include:

· Being named to the Honor Roll many years of a medical device and pharmaceutical insurer's panel counsel, a recognition only about 10 of 300 lawyers receive for exceptional client service and results.

· Serving as mass tort panel counsel for one of the largest insurers in the country, handling new, cutting-edge litigation involving wood dust exposure.

· Litigation in MDL and class actions, serving as liaison counsel for key defendants and developing and executing complex settlement arrangements.

Christina's litigation experience has made her a sought-after presenter, and she has been a featured speaker and panelist at several conferences. Christina is a member of the Council on Litigation Management, an organization dedicated to maintaining high standards in the legal profession. Christina also donates her time to pro bono work, serves on the Mobile Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyer's Program and actively participates in the "Task Force on Wills for Heroes" program for the Alabama State Bar, which provides free estate planning to police and firefighters in Mobile County.

When she is not practicing law or volunteering, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys. She also finds time to spend with friends, read, cook and travel.
