| Biography | Christopher Allen Kroblin is a general civil litigator admitted to practice in New York and the Virgin Islands, as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He has practiced on St. Thomas since 2005. His primary focus is on commercial litigation which includes contract disputes, arbitration, employment law defense, and creditor's side bankruptcy representation. Prior to his present position, Chris served as a judicial law clerk for Virgin Islands Supreme Court Justice Maria M. Cabret, in her former position as Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands. Chris is a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco and he undertook graduate studies at The George Washington School of Law in Washington, D.C. While pursuing his course work, Chris interned for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and externed for the Supreme Court of California. Chris represented his school at the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot held in Vienna, Austria and he served as Editor-in-Chief of his school's Law Review. He published a Note entitled "Expanding the Jurisdictional Reach for International Torts: Implications for Cyber Contacts," 31 Golden Gate U.L. Rev. 51 (2001). He holds a B.A. from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
