Chris King concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law and commercial banking and finance. Mr. King assists clients with various types of corporate transactions including the organization and formation of all types of business entities, purchase and sale of equity interests, and management of corporate governance. Mr. King also represents lenders in the documentation, negotiation and closing of traditional, asset-based and other forms of commercial loan transactions.
Prior to pursuing his legal education, Mr. King worked in the printing and flexible packaging industries where he specialized in graphical pre-press, systems development, and six sigma quality management and control. Mr. King received an M.B.A., summa cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans while also serving as a business counselor with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center. While in law school, Mr. King was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and served as law clerk with Nexsen Pruet in the Columbia and Greenville offices.
