CHRIS HEINSS is a Partner in the firm's Birmingham office and is a member of the Litigation section. Mr. Heinss regularly handles a variety of general litigation matters, with the primary focuses of his practice on products liability, casualty, and construction litigation. He also has represented clients in business, health care, intellectual property, and real property litigation matters.
Education and Experience
Mr. Heinss received his B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee (with a major in Political Science), his M.Div. degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling), and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law. He was the Executive Editor of the Cumberland Law Review from 2002-2003. Mr. Heinss served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army from 1981-1987. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and an ordained minister and practiced in the ministry and counseling fields from 1990-2000.
