Chris joined the Gross & Romanick team as a law student in 2007 and became a partner of the law firm in 2014. Chris primarily handles transactional matters for the firm’s business and commercial landlord clients. Chris advises business clients on a wide variety of issues, including without limitation entity start-up and organization, agreements between business owners, the buying/selling of businesses, disputes between business owners, employment matters, commercial contracts and contract disputes, and leasing matters. Chris advises commercial landlord clients with respect to lease preparation and negotiation, lease amendments and assignments, resolution of tenant disputes, and evictions. Chris has reviewed, drafted and negotiated countless operating agreements, shareholder agreements, business sale/purchase agreements, commercial leases, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, licensing agreements, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other business contracts. Chris is a lifelong resident of Fairfax County, Virginia, and currently resides in Fairfax with his wife and two sons.
