Christopher Sharp concentrates his practice in general litigation and dispute resolution.
Mr. Sharp also regularly practices before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, representing clients in proceedings involving electricity, telecommunications, and natural gas.
As a member of the consumer financial services team, Mr. Sharp regularly represents lenders and financial institutions in a variety of consumer finance litigation matters in federal and state court, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA and FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims.
He is experienced with motions practice, oral argument, the discovery process, trial practice and post-trial work.
As a law student, Mr. Sharp served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Community Service & Affiliations
Mr. Sharp has been named to the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania Pro Bono Roll of Honor annually since 2007 in recognition of his pro bono work on behalf of indigent clients. Mr. Sharp is a Democratic Committeeman for Philadelphia's 21st Ward. He is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and serves as Vice President for Membership of the Philadelphia Chapter of the College of William and Mary Alumni Association.
