Chris counsels a variety of clients, including public and private companies as well as individuals, in corporate, commercial and financing matters. He advises clients on transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, commercial and lending transactions and real estate development projects involving state and federal tax credits. Chris routinely represents clients during the formation and acquisition of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships in a variety of contexts. Additionally, he represents parties entering into (or already a party to) corporate organizational documents, such as operating agreements, partnership agreements and shareholder agreements, as well as commercial contracts, loan agreements and contracts related to the allocation, transfer and leveraging of tax credits. Chris's representation includes counseling and advising clients in all aspects of such transactions, including initial structuring and negotiation of business and legal issues throughout. Prior to joining the firm, Chris practiced in Atlanta, Ga. During law school, Chris served as a legal intern and as an intern for the Federal Defender Program, Inc. in Atlanta.
