Christy Ames joined the firm in 2007. She is a Member of the firm and her practice focuses on residential mortgage litigation. Ms. Ames is the chair of the firm's Financial Institutions and Subprime Litigation Sub-group.

Christy joined the firm after serving for five years as general counsel for a large regional residential mortgage lender, First Residential Mortgage Network, Inc. d/b/a SurePoint Lending, where she was responsible for managing litigation and insuring compliance with federal and 43 states' mortgage laws and regulations. Prior to that, her practice focused on general litigation at large and mid-sized regional law firms.
More Than Stites & Harbison
Christy has been very passionate about making Louisville a better place. She was a founding member and president of the Young Professionals Association of Louisville's Board of Advisors. She also has sat on the following boards and commissions: Human Relations Commission, University of Louisville Cardinal Athletic Fund Board of Directors, Library Foundation Board of Directors, University of Louisville Board of Overseers, Safe Place Services Board of Directors, the University of Louisville Alumni Association Board of Directors, Jefferson County/City of Louisville Merger Task Force, and the Greater Louisville Inc. Board of Directors. She was a member of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2002.
