Cindy Upchurch, a member of Sutherland's Energy and Environmental Practice Group, focuses her practice on transactional and corporate work, which includes representing utilities and underwriters in financings, corporate transactions and power supply matters. Her experience includes government-guaranteed financings, tax-exempt pollution control revenue bond transactions, Rule 144A securities offerings, and corporate mergers and restructurings. Cindy's work also involves general corporate representation and advising clients on Rural Utilities Service (RUS) regulatory requirements. Before joining the firm, Cindy served as a law clerk for the Honorable Frank M. Hull at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
