Claire Ezzeddin is an associate in our Labour & Employment Group and our Pensions, Benefits & Executive Compensation Group in Montréal. Ms. Ezzeddin advises employers with respect to a variety of matters including labour standards, employment agreements, collective agreements, grievance arbitration, occupational health and safety, workers' compensation, privacy, and human rights. As a member of the firm's national Pensions, Benefits & Executive Compensation Group, Ms. Ezzeddin advises on legal issues related to pension plans, employee benefits, and executive compensation, including where such issues arise in the context of corporate transactions.
Ms. Ezzeddin has completed the Osgoode Certificate in Pension Law. She graduated with great distinction from McGill University's Faculty of Law, where she obtained both civil law (BCL) and common law (LLB) degrees. While at McGill, Ms. Ezzeddin served as an editor of the McGill Law Journal and interned at public legal education organizations in Québec, Ontario and British Columbia. Prior to studying law, Ms. Ezzeddin received her Master's degree in English from Queen's University and her BA in English (with First Class Honours) from McGill University.
Ms. Ezzeddin was called to the Québec and Ontario Bars in 2009, after articling in McCarthy Tétrault's Montréal and Toronto offices. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Young Bar Association of Montréal.
