Claude W. Roxborough, III represents businesses and individuals in a variety of corporate and securities law matters. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Claude worked as a structured finance and securities lawyer in the New York offices of Thacher Proffitt & Wood. Over the years, his practice has focused on private fund formation and compliance, large scale domestic and international securities offerings, the sale and purchase of domestic and international companies, inward-bound investment, licensing of IP and other company technologies, as well as corporate governance issues, including director duties and shareholder rights under Maryland, Delaware and New York law. In addition, he also counsels clients in the establishment of various business entities, including corporations, limited liability companies, joint ventures, general and limited partnerships and non-profit or not-for-profit organizations with both a domestic and international agenda.
Claude is a 2004 graduate of Columbia University School of Law. He also earned a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Columbia. Claude also serves as the General Counsel for the South African Chamber of Commerce in America (SACCA) and sits on its Board of Directors.
