Mr. Clyde C. Greco, Jr. founded Greco Traficante Schulz & Brick in 1986, based on his belief that a mid-sized firm could provide legal services, equal to or better than those afforded by larger firms, at a lower cost. His vision proved accurate, as the firm has prospered under his direction since its formation. His tenacity, commitment to perfection, and reputation remain cornerstones of the firm's practice. He has achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Greco was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Duquesne University and St. Vincent College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1973. He subsequently attended the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in 1979 with a Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude. During law school, he was a member of the San Diego Law Review. Mr. Greco was admitted to the California State Bar in 1979. He is admitted to practice in many state and federal courts throughout the United States, including the United States Supreme Court, and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law for the University of San Diego School of Law. For the first 20 years of his career, Mr. Greco represented prominent individuals and San Diego-based public companies in a wide variety of litigations including securities fraud, insurance bad faith, wrongful termination and intellectual property claims. Mr. Greco has developed experience in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Mr. Greco focuses his practice in the insurance coverage area, both as trial counsel and as an expert on insurance coverage. He also serves as a consultant to other attorneys for purposes of assisting them in obtaining insurance coverage for their clients or claims. Mr. Greco prides himself on the high level of personal attention he provides his clients and their cases.
