Coan & Lyons specializes in real estate law with a major emphasis on Federal housing programs. As such, Coan & Lyons represents owners and managers of multifamily housing, much of it federally assisted, throughout the country in all aspects of its clients' ownership and management of such housing, including handling Fair Housing and other tenant-related matters. As part of its representation Coan & Lyons interacts extensively with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Congress. It also represents local and State agencies before HUD and the Congress. In addition, Coan & Lyons litigates on behalf of its clients when appropriate.
