Coleman Casey practices in the areas of real estate and business transactions, representing clients in the areas of commercial and public (tax-exempt) finance, asset-based lending, syndications, workouts, planning and zoning, environmental issues, leasing, real property tax appeals, foreclosures and condemnations, as well as personal estate and tax planning.
Coleman has developed a special knowledge of both educational and health care institutions through his long-term representation of the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools, Connecticut Health System, and the State of Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority.
Active in charitable and community activities, Coleman has been involved as a trustee or board member of more than 15 organizations. He is also a trustee of several charitable foundations and was the host of a long running radio show, "What's New," on Connecticut Public Radio.
