Professional Experience
Colleen Tracy has extensive experience in all aspects of complex patent litigation in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biological, and biotechnological arts. Ms. Tracy represents leaders in these technological fields, including Gilead, Sanofi-Aventis, Bausch & Lomb, G.D. Searle, Pharmacia, AstraZeneca, Gilead, GlaxoSmithKline, Adams Respiratory Therapeutics, and Bristol-Myers Squibb in litigations involving pharmaceutical compounds and compositions. Ms. Tracy also has extensive experience in litigating ANDA cases brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act.
Ms. Tracy also has conducted IP due diligence and has provided licensing and IP counseling to the firms' clients.
She presently serves on the firm's Diversity and Professional Development Committees and is the head of the firm's pro bono group that assists Sanctuary for Families, an organization that aids victims of domestic abuse. She also currently serves as the firm's Managing Partner.
While in law school, Ms. Tracy served as a student law clerk to the Honorable William G. Bassler of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Awards and Recognition
Listed in Legal 500 2007 in Patent Litigation: "attracted client praise for the 'overall depth of knowledge, dogged advocacy, and unfailing attentiveness to details of concern to the client.'" Law 360 highlighted Colleen Tracy as a rising star in intellectual property law in the March 31st issue. She was also listed as a Top New York City Intellectual Property Litigator in the 2011 issue of Super Lawyers: New York Metro Edition. Ms. Tracy was selected as a top intellectual property law practitioner in the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers in America.

· AstraZeneca against several generic challengers in an ANDA litigation relating to AstraZeneca's Crestor® product.
· Sanofi-Aventis against several generic challengers in an ANDA litigation relating to Sanofi's Eloxatin® product.
· Bristol-Myers Squibb against Repligen and Bristol-Myers Squibb against Zymogenetics in two patent infringement suits relating to Bristol-Myers Squibb's drug Orenciaâ.
· Adams Respiratory Therapeutics against Mutual Pharmaceuticals in an ANDA litigation relating to Adams' drug Mucinexâ.
· GlaxoSmithKline against Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Cobalt Pharmaceuticals and Spectrum Pharmaceuticals in ANDA litigations relating to GlaxoSmithKline's Imitrexâ product.
· AstraZeneca against several generic challengers, including Mylan, Apotex, Impax, and Lek, in an ANDA litigation relating to AstraZeneca's Prilosecâproduct.
· G.D. Searle and Pharmacia against the University of Rochester in a patent infringment suit relating to G.D. Searle and Pharmacia's Celebrexâproduct.
· Bausch & Lomb against Alcon Laboratories on technology regarding contact lens disinfectants.
