Courtney Ferrell is an associate in Troutman Sanders' Business Litigation and Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation practice groups. Her practice includes representing corporate clients in civil litigation, environmental matters, and property rights litigation.
Courtney graduated magna cum laude from the Walter F. Georgia School of Law at Mercer University in 2011. She was selected to serve as editor of the annual Lead Articles publication which focused on the intersection between neuroscience and legal practice. While in law school, Courtney also served as a member of the Mercer Moot Court Program. Before attending law school, Courtney earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and worked in local news at the NBC affiliate in Macon, Georgia. During her career in television news, Courtney managed news assignments and produced local content as a member of one of the first all digital news stations in the country.
