Craig S. Heryford

Craig S. Heryford's practice is concentrated in the representation of mature and emerging businesses, venture capital and corporate finance matters. He has experience in a wide variety of commercial transactions, including numerous corporate finance and venture capital funding transactions involving both equity and debt, as well as merger and acquisition transactions and private equity transactions.

Craig regularly represents investors, including private equity and venture based investors, in portfolio investments and acquisition and divestiture transactions. He has also represented fund clients in fund formation work, including the structuring and formation of the funds, negotiation and preparation of investor documents and constituent fund documentation.

Craig is a member of the Executive Committee of the firm's Corporate Finance & Technology Section, as well as a member of the firm's Strategic Planning Committee.

He assisted a client in the successful closing and funding of one of the largest first round venture capital equity financings consummated in the United States in 1999. In addition to his transactional experience, Craig has experience representing both emerging and mature businesses in general corporate and business matters.

Craig is a frequent lecturer on corporate, finance and business law matters. He was recognized in the 2003-2008 editions of Client's Guide of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Since 2006, he has been consistently selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list. He was also listed in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 lists of The Best Lawyers in America.
