Rock Solid. Since 1932.
Crosswhite, Crosswhite, Ashley & Johnson, PLLC is a Statesville, North Carolina, law firm that has served the citizens of Iredell County and surrounding areas of the state since 1932. Throughout that time, our commitments to client service, strong advocacy and excellence in the practice of law have never wavered.
If you need legal representation you can depend on in the west-central areas of North Carolina, we encourage you to contact our Iredell County law firm online, or to call 704.498.4089 or toll free at 1.888.604.9071.
Our firm's history dates back to 1873, when Major William MacKendrie Robbins set up a law office in Statesville. Mr. Robins was a former army officer, North Carolina state senator, U.S. representative, and Superintendent of Gettysburg Military Park. In 1932, Neil Sowers (Robert Crosswhite's grandfather) became a principal in the firm. Since then, our name and the services we've been able to offer have changed many times as new lawyers have joined the practice, left, retired or passed on. Today, we are a team of professional legal support staff and four attorneys known as Crosswhite, Crosswhite, Ashley & Johnson, PLLC and we are ready to assist you with a variety of legal concerns.
Our Practice Today
Each lawyer at our firm works hard to aid in the success of every client in every case. Our current legal team offers several decades of combined experience in the practice of law and strives to meet a wide range of legal needs within the community, including those in the areas of:
- Family Law
- Criminal Law, including traffic offenses
- Workers' Compensation
- Personal Injury & Wrongful Death
- Estate Planning
- Business Law
- Residential and Commercial Real Estate
Each of our attorneys has extensive litigation experience and is prepared to take your case to court in order to get the result you need. That said - we believe it's wise to keep in mind that in litigation, it is often only the lawyers themselves who really win. And because of that, we both prefer and strive for the speedier, more cost-effective approach of resolving the issues out of court whenever possible and appropriate to do so.
