Diversity at Crowe & Dunlevy,
A Professional Corporation

Crowe & Dunlevy has long been a supporter of efforts to promote diversity within the legal profession and a pioneer within Oklahoma legal circles in identifying and recruiting qualified minorities. Currently, almost 30% of the Firm's attorneys and nearly 20% of its shareholders are women. The Firm's commitment to diversity is matched by its advocacy for the advancement of women in the legal profession. The Firm is strongly committed and taking meaningful steps to ensure that Crowe & Dunlevy attorneys mirror the ethnic diversity of our state and of our society as a whole. Crowe & Dunlevy is an annual participant in the Sunbelt Minority Recruitment Program, one of the most successful minority recruitment programs in the nation. Law students and recent graduates from 18 American Bar Association-approved law schools participate in the program, with more than 900 minority students attending these schools. In an ongoing effort to assist minority law school students, Crowe & Dunlevy has established a minority scholarship program at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. The Crowe & Dunlevy Scholars Program annually awards $2,000 scholarship stipends to two minority students in each law school class based upon their scholastic performance, economic need and other demonstrated abilities. Mr. William Paul, former President of the American Bar Association and a shareholder and director of Crowe & Dunlevy, founded this unique scholarship fund in 2000. The Firm shares Mr. Paul's sentiments that "we can best serve society if members of the legal profession come from all segments of the population, reflecting the diversity of the United States," and believes that a vital component of increasing diversity within the legal profession comes through financial aid. The mission of the ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to racial and ethnic minority law students. The Firm and Mr. Paul made the initial pledge for a substantial contribution to the fund, demonstrating a commitment to increasing diversity within the legal profession and challenging others to help fully establish the fund. This commitment has also led the Firm to become an active supporter and contributor to the ABA's Diversity Awards, presented annually to those individuals who have demonstrated their dedication to increasing diversity within the legal profession. Crowe & Dunlevy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Our Firm policy requires equal opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation or age at all times and through all levels of employment, including recruitment, promotion, training and shareholder consideration, and encourages diversity at all levels of the organization.
