Curtis' offices in Kazakhstan, operating as TOO "Curtis Mallet-Prevost (Kazakhstan)", opened its doors in 2007. Consistent with the Firm's international orientation, Curtis' Almaty and Astana lawyers provide services primarily in cross-border transactions involving Kazakh and international law focusing on corporate, commercial, banking and capital markets work as well as on international arbitration. The Firm's lawyers have served as lead advisers on some of the largest projects in Kazakhstan, advising both private sector companies and governmental entities.

The Almaty office concentrates on general corporate and commercial, real estate and international funds work. It advises, inter alia, Kazakh as well as foreign investors on business set-ups, joint ventures and financings.
