Dallas Dodge practices in the areas of Corporate Trust and Public Finance. Prior to joining the firm, Dallas served as a law clerk to Senior United States District Judge Ellen Bree Burns of the District of Connecticut, and also Connecticut Supreme Court Justice Lubbie Harper Jr. during Justice Harper's tenure on the Connecticut Appellate Court.
During law school Dallas worked in the office of general counsel for the corporate treasury department of a global technology and financial services corporation. He also participated in the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative ("CULI"), an on-campus law firm that provides legal services to various non-profit entities and urban community organizations. In this capacity, Dallas successfully represented a client seeking to foreclose several tax liens purchased from a large Connecticut city.
As a member of the UConn Asylum Clinic, Dallas received the Clinical Legal Education Association's Outstanding Student Award for his representation of a Zimbabwean asylum-seeker in Immigration Court. This award is given annually to only one student or team of students in the clinical programs at UConn Law. Dallas was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his work in the Street Law in the Community program, where he spent a semester teaching constitutional law at Weaver High School in Hartford.
