Dan Donlan is an experienced litigator who focuses his active practice on complex commercial disputes and advising clients. Dan represents clients in multi-state disputes involving intellectual property, class actions, securities litigation, director and officer liability, regulatory investigations and internet law. In addition to handling general commercial disputes, Dan has litigated over 70 intellectual property cases over the last five years.

Representative Matters and Clients

· Washington Public Trust Advocates v. Nordstrom, et al., Spokane County Superior Court and Washington Court of Appeals, 69 P.3d 351 (July 2003), successfully defended Nordstrom against securities fraud claims in trial court and on appeal.

· Arco v. Aetna, Los Angeles Superior Court, successfully defended $1.1 billion dollar dispute over liability for environmental cleanup

· In re RPS Bond Litigation, United States District Court, successfully defended bond underwriter in $31 million dollar bond municipal bond transaction.

· James Dean, Inc., Marilyn Monroe, LLC, Bogart, Inc., and the Estate of Buddy Holly v. Movie Market, United States District Court, represented celebrity estates in intellectual property infringement dispute with internet retailer.
