| Biography | With international contracting and merger and acquisition experience, Dan has been helping US manufacturers grow and expand into worldwide markets. Recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Mergers and Acquisitions, Dan is well regarded for his ability to effectively negotiate contracts and to develop creative solutions to complete deals. Dan has extensive experience in handling complex transactions. He provides representation to boards of directors and regularly counsels senior decision makers of manufacturers, professional medical practices and emerging growth companies on business matters. Dan also advises corporate executives on wealth preservation strategies that include high-end estate planning, business succession planning and limited liability company formations. A retired professional race car driver, Dan holds the distinction of being the 1999 Sports Car Club of America GT-5 National Champion. He also is an instrument rated private pilot and counsels clients in Aviation Law related areas. Dan joined Day Ketterer in 1979 and is a member of the American, Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations.
