Daniel Leduc advises employers on collective and individual labour relations, with particular emphasis on labour standards, grievance arbitration, protection of personal information, complaints pursuant to the Act respecting labour standards, certification, human rights and freedoms, and employment injuries.
Mr. Leduc regularly represents employers in both the federal and Quebec jurisdictions before various courts and tribunals, including grievance arbitrators, the Commission des relations du travail, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Commission des lésions professionnelles, the Commission d'accès à l'information, the Human Rights Tribunal and arbitrators appointed under the Canada Labour Code.
As a member of our technology, life sciences, and privacy and access to information teams, Mr. Leduc handles matters relating to the impact of technological changes on the rights and obligations of employers and the drafting of contracts of employment and contracts for services containing confidentiality clauses, covenants not to compete and clauses to protect intellectual property. He also examines the protection of information stored on electronic media, the protection of personal information and the legal aspects of telework arrangements.
