Daniel Lindenberg is a member of the Halloran & Sage Health Care and Corporate Business & Transactions practice groups, representing individuals, partnerships, limited-liability companies and corporations in general business affairs and contracts, business start-ups, IT service centers, nursing homes, residential care homes, home health agencies and trade associations.

With health care, Daniel focuses on: business counseling under health care reform; non-profit arrangements; new technology arrangements; hospital-physician mergers and acquisitions; regulatory compliance (including Stark law, HIPAA, civil money penalties and fraud and abuse counseling), general corporate and limited liability company matters; Medicare/Medicaid coverage and reimbursement; government audits and investigations; and facility and practitioner licensing (including Consent Orders and Certificate of Need (CON) matters before the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Connecticut Department of Social Services).

Daniel also has served as a member of several different nonprofit organizations throughout Connecticut, and currently serves on the Human Investigation Committee and Ethics Committee of Yale New Haven Hospital and the board of the Connecticut Coalition to Improve End of Life Care.

Daniel speaks frequently at medical associations and legal conferences concerning the Affordable Care Act, informed consent, fraud and abuse and long term care. He publishes with the online medical journal, Physician's Practice and has written on various topics concerning HIPAA, electronic health records and government investigations.
