| Biography | Mr. Wilson is the Managing Shareholder of the Huntsville, Alabama office. His practice includes the regular representation of developers, lenders and private companies in the following areas: ·Commercial Financing:
Represents lenders in all types of commercial lending, including asset based lines of credit, real estate development and construction, letter of credit financing, tax incentives, industrial development financing, floor plan lines of credit, leveraged leasing, and government contract financing. Also a title agent for national title insurance companies.
·Commercial Development:
Represents developers and private users in the acquisition, construction, leasing, financing and development of commercial office buildings, commercial, residential and resort condominiums, manufacturing facilities, research projects, warehouse and industrial projects, including industrial development tax abatements and industrial site grants. Regularly advises clients on ownership and equity structure, financing, leasing, construction, land use planning, zoning, title, permitting and subdivision issues. Specializes in the structuring of "public/private" developments in downtown urban areas.
·Federal Government Relations:
Representing and advising private companies on projects before the United States Congress and various federal agencies.

·Representing California-based developer in connection with the development of a $250,000,000 mixed-used commercial, hotel and residential project in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama, including a 4-Star national hotel. The project involves a 100 acre site with a 10 acre lake, and includes an Intermodal Transportation Facility owned and operated by the City of Huntsville, and funded through the Federal Transportation Administration. The hotel component of the project will include 64 residential condominiums; the first condo-hotel in the state of Alabama. Project opened on November 1, 2007.
·Representing large international automobile manufacturer in connection with all aspects of the development and expansion of a $500,000,000 engine facility, including negotiation of all state and local incentives. Completion of the Phase II expansion was finalized in 2006.
·Representing developer in connection with the structuring and financing of a $45,000,000 lake front resort development in Guntersville, Alabama, including all environmental permits associated with the creation of additional lake front lots. Currently under construction.
·Representing developer in connection with the development and construction of a downtown commercial office building in Big Spring Park, Huntsville, Alabama (the first commercial development in the Park), including negotiation of the development agreement with the City of Huntsville for additional phases to include an 8-story residential condominium component. Commercial office building component of the project opened in August 2006.
·Representing developer in all aspects of the development, construction and financing of a twin commercial office building development of Wastar Aerospace Corporation in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, Alabama. Phase II currently under construction.
·Representing developer in connection with the continued development of New Urbanism Development in Huntsville, Alabama, which includes retail, hotel, upper-end residential and upscale residential condominium components. Currently negotiating for a second hotel user and negotiating construction aspects of two additional commercial office buildings.
·Representing owner in connection with the development of an approximately $150,000,000 beach-front convention center in Panama City Beach, Florida. |
