Daniel P. Ryan is an associate in the firm's Hartford office where he practices in the areas of business law and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ryan worked as an Extern for the Connecticut Fair Housing Center in Hartford, Connecticut. While at Connecticut Fair Housing Center, Mr. Ryan drafted complaints based on violations of fair housing laws, conducted client interviews and attended hearings on housing issues, conducted file reviews at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and assisted in the preparation of discovery materials.
Mr. Ryan also has extensive paralegal experience. He worked at Travelers in Hartford, Connecticut from October, 2006 through May, 2008 supporting attorneys in the Claim Legal Group. He managed document production and prepared responses to third party subpoenas, analyzed claim and underwriting files, and communicated extensively with outside counsel on claim matters. He also served as a paralegal with Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye in Boston, Massachusetts as well as Latham & Watkins in Washington, D. C.
Mr. Ryan received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A. from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
