Dan is a Member in the Corporate & Securities Section. His practice primarily includes venture finance, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and general business and corporate law.
Dan has extensive experience in venture finance where he has represented both issuers and investors in equity and debt financings. He also advises public companies in connection with public and private offerings and securities law compliance. In addition, he has represented both buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and regularly advises both private and public companies at various stages of development on a wide variety of general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Dan served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts.
Dan is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in finance from Saint Anselm College (1994) and earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School (1998), where he was the recipient of the Daniel J. Fern Award and the Judge Harry Kalus Award. Dan also served as a comment editor for the Suffolk University Law Review.
