Dave concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law and corporate and commercial litigation. He has been involved in many of Delaware's significant corporate law cases, particularly in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
He serves as an Appointed Member of the Committee on Corporate Laws of the Section of Business Law of the American Bar Association. In addition, Dave is the former Chairman and currently a member of the Executive Council of the Corporate Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, the group that is responsible for recommending and drafting amendments to the Delaware General Corporation Law.
Dave is a member of the American Law Institute and the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is one of Delaware's three Commissioners to the National Conference of Commissioners of Uniform State Laws, a member of the Rules Committee of the Delaware Court of Chancery, a member of the Board of Editors of the Delaware Lawyer, and a director of the Historical Society for the Delaware Court of Chancery. He has also authored several articles and CLE outlines in the area of corporate law.
