| Biography | David Olstein's practice has focused on the fiduciary responsibility provisions of ERISA. He has advised pension fund clients on the fiduciary aspects of their private equity fund and real estate investments. Mr. Olstein has also provided ERISA advice to sponsors of private equity funds, with a particular emphasis on compliance with the rules under the "plan asset" regulations. He has also advised issuers and underwriters of mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities on matters relating to compliance with ERISA's prohibited transaction rules.
