| Biography | David is a member in the firm's Boston office working in the Tax Section. His practice focuses primarily on the area of business taxation and finance. In the course of the firm's practice, David has considerable involvement in tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, facilities finance, executive compensation, venture capital transactions, and insolvency proceedings. Coming from a science background, he frequently represents clients in high technology fields, particularly computer software and biotechnology. David is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American, Massachusetts, District of Columbia, and Boston Bar Associations. He received his B.S. magna cum laude from the University of Michigan (1967), his M.S. from Stanford University (1968) and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School (1971). He received his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University (1976) and is a member of the adjunct faculty at the Boston University Law School. He has published in the New York University Federal Tax Institute Proceedings and the Boston Bar Journal and is a frequent speaker at the New England Federal Tax Institute and other seminars. |
