| Biography | Mr. Lowenstein joined Goodman Allen & Filetti's Veterans Benefit Practice Group in January 2009 following eight years as an Appellate Attorney in the Office of the VA General Counsel (serving four of those years as a Senior Appellate Attorney) where he represented the Secretary of Veterans Affairs before the U. S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. With extensive experience in the VA adjudicative process, involving all aspects of disability entitlement, Mr. Lowenstein brings a unique understanding and compelling perspective to the representation of Veterans and their families in their disability benefits claims. Mr. Lowenstein has also previously been involved in providing pro bono legal assistance to low-income individuals and families through the Charles W.
