David McGlone's practice covers a broad range of commercial litigation matters with a primary focus on construction law. He handles matters such as acceleration and inefficiency claims; assertion and perfection of mechanic's liens and bond claims; collection; bid protests and claim arbitration; defective plans and specifications claims; AIA drafting contracts; direct pay claims and beyond. David is an experienced first chair trial litigator with over 20 years of experience. He practices in all phases of trial work in federal and superior courts as well as in arbitration, assisting clients by developing creative pre-trial remedies and results-oriented trial strategies.
Representative Matters
ˇ Obtained summary judgment for owner against subcontractors seeking a lien after material breach by general contractor;
ˇ Managed termination of general contractor for owner, leading to advantageous settlement for client;
ˇ Prosecuted and settled defective plan and specifications claim under the FAR against federal government;
ˇ Prosecuted direct pay claims against municipalities for subcontractors;
ˇ Represented developers and owners in the negotiation, drafting, and execution of construction contracts.
