Focusing on personal injury and consumer litigation, Mr. Walker has decades of experience and has been retained in over two thousand injury cases. He represents clients concentrating on: Mesothelioma asbestos exposure, 18 Wheeler/Trucking collisions, Tour Bus/MotorCoach/Van accidents, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; Offshore, Admiralty, Jones Act, and Maritime Law; Death on the High Seas; Insurance Contract Coverage; Motor Vehicle Collisions; and Products Liability Law.
Mr. Walker is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and invited to membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Recently, Mr. Walker served as Lead Counsel in a successful $7 Million truck injury case. He appeared before the Supreme Court of Louisiana and was successful in a UM insurance case, providing $1 Million to compensate his client instead of the $100,000 suggested by the insurance company. Mr. Walker has lectured at LSU Law School’s Pre-Trial Litigation Practice Seminar and is a speaker for the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Annual Admiralty Symposium.
Mr. Walker is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the Louisiana and Texas State Bar Associations, American Association for Justice, the Louisiana Association for Justice, Master of the Bench of the Crossroads American Inns of Court, and the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group. Mr. Walker earned his law degree in 1984 from Southern University Law Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, cum laude, was on the Moot Court Board and was a candidate of the Law Review. Mr. Walker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
